About Giulia

Giulia Gavin

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.  If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.” ~ Nelson Mandela

I have been teaching and tutoring for more than 25 years and absolutely love what I do!  I am fluent in French, Italian, and Spanish
. I was born and have spent much of my time in Rome, Italy. I have always been surrounded by foreign language speakers, and continue to surround myself and grow in innumerable ways each day.

My mission is to instill in each student a passion for learning another language, and develop an appreciation for the unique, fun and eye-opening experience. Not only does knowing a second language broaden one’s horizons, but it stimulates creativity, aids in communications when traveling, improves memory, and allows one to truly experience a different culture. It also sharpens the mind and its ability to apply itself intelligently with wonderful flexibility!  How about that!?

I dedicate myself completely to each student whether in a one-on-one tutoring session or a total immersion class.

Come join the journey and experience it for yourself!

Non vedo l’ora di conoscervi!
